Hi there,
If one already has a song database from existing software, say easyworship, is it easy to import it into songbeamer?
Kind regards,
Josh. |

Should be easy. Well, I've just modified our Access Importer so that it uses an easyworship database. You can download it here:
http://www.songbeamer.com/bin/EasyworshipImport.exe
Open the Easyworship database in the importer. You can probably find it in the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Softouch\EasyWorship\data\Songs.DB
Otherwise search your computer for Songs.DB
Then click "Create SNG Files!".
As always, I recommend that you make a backup of your database before you open it with our importer. The importer is probably using a newer version of the database components than Easyworship. So it is better to be on the safe side |

Dear SongBeamer
Help !!!!
I've got Songbeamer on trial and am very keen to try it out this sunday. It looks like it's just what we need
However
I'm really struggling to get our existing songs out of EasyWorship.
I've tried your link and Easyworship Importer 1.00, but get the following error:
Network initialization failed. Permission denied.
File: C:\PDOXUSRS.NET
Directory: C:\.
Many many thanx

Could you please try running the importer with admin privileges? Right click the program icon, then select "Run as Administrator". Does that help? |

We can only support SongBeamer here on the forum, not other software. |

If you want to travel with your songs to other churches, then we recommend that you install SongBeamer on a usb drive and take SongBeamer and your songs with you. |
