MOVIE FORMATS THAT CAN BE USED AS BACKGROUNDS

Post by jameshorsley1976 »

One more question. I have quite a few moving backgrounds in .mov format that will not allow me to check the use as baxkground box. Can this format not be used as a background. They play fine but no text. I can always convert but what format plays the best with Song Beamer. Again great program

The original Quicktime player doesn't seem to allow background movies.

My favorite format for moving backgrounds is MPEG-1. This will work on almost any system and has low system requirements.

You can find a free sample video here:

If you prefer to keep your videos in .mov format then we could take a look at the "quicktime alternative" and see if we can enable that in SongBeamer. Just let me know if you want to try that. :)

Hey Sebastian

Thanks for the info. Most of my moing backgrounds are in mpeg format and the ones that are not fortunately come from VMG Online which also has an mpeg version.

Thanks
