2 Projectors Cropping

Post by grunt2001c »

Hello Sebastian,
We have 2 displays that we want to run with songbeamer and we are running into issue where the songbeamer on one of them is only covering part of the screen top left portion. rest is just black background.
1st screen where issue happens is HDMI 1920x1080 @29Hz 1080i
2nd screen is 1280x720 @60Hz 720p

also when running pdf with both screens the songbeamer freezes.
Have a blessed day.

That is currently a beta feature that is not fully developed. Both screens need to have the same resolution. Also there are issues with background video and PowerPoint (which can only be shown on one screen).

In general we recommend using a HDMI splitter, or use the duplicate desktop function that is built into Windows 10.

I've talked to our media IT guy in our church if you would be able to make this work we'd pay for your effort. our computer is running windows 7 if i'm not mistaken. We really like songbeamer and can't use it cause of this issue.

We have a tool that copies the content of one monitor to the other:
https://www.songbeamer.de/bin/Presentat ... _Setup.exe

Please take a look at it and see if it does the trick for you.

We can still consider extending SongBeamer. But the tool is definitely the quickest solution if you can use it. Let me know what you think.
