HowTo: Name song section and reuse them in the projection
Did you know that you can give each section in a song an name and use it multiple times in the show? When you edit a song you split the song into sections by adding --- on a single line. You could create an entire song that way, create verse one, then add the chorus, then verse two and then the chor...

RFE: allow 'blank' screens in songs to show full (not faded)
explaination: at our church, one of the things we use songs for is displaying scripture readings durning the sermon. We use a 'song' like a PowerPoint presentation. The first verse is the Sermon title, the next verse is blank, then next verse is the first scripture reading (the pastor has the congre...

Hint - Dealing with multiple services
For a long while we were creating two play lists, one for our Traditional service, and one for our contemporary service. Then one day, one of my NON techies, said 'Why don't we just use one playlist for both? Have the top half the Traditional and the bottom half the Contemporary?" It works great, no...

ok, I was confused since I had just opened a schedule called 'Traditional' and at the bottom of the SongBeamer window it displayed 'Traditional.col' I expected the export would use that name for the schedule and the import would create a schedule with the same name. Version confusion
I'm confused about the version numbers for SongBeamer. The message (http://forum.songbeamer.com/viewtopic.php?t=21) on Dec 20 says version 2.31f can be downloaded and has a link, but it actually downloads version 2.33. The download menu shows the latest version as: Dec 28 - version 2.32a Which one s...

Using <s:60> seven times cases an error in the way the
Version 2.33 If you use the html code <s:x> seven times, the text without the <s:x> becomes very small, removing one occurance and the text reverts to the maximum available for the page. Here is the song (which is actually a scripture presentation) I discovered this using: #LangCount=1 #Editor=SongB...

Image issue using F6 image as a song background
I have an image I duplicated. I use one copy as the F6 image. The second is a background image. The image as a song background fills the screen, the F6 image is smaller. If I use the F6 image in a song it fills the screen. There is a difference in how the image is displayed as a songbackground and a...

Should <wordwrap>...</wordrap> honor or ignore e
I'm playing with the HTML feature. If I use <wordwrap>...</wordwrap> with a long string of text, it wraps it nicely, however if I add a CR in the string, it creates a new line at that point and keeps wrapping till the </wordwrap>. While I can see a logic in this, to be consistant with HTML (which ig...

Most of our songs are covered by our CCLI license, however we have a couple songs written by a member of our congregation. What do the HTML tags <align:e> and <align:keep>
I'm starting to explore using HTML tags (see RFE: Add 'text' as item that could be added to the schedule - and the suggestion) and I understand most of the tags, but
1) what do the HTML tags <align:e> and <align:keep> do?
2) what is their scope (ex BOLD ends with a </b>)

RFE: Add 'text' as item that could be added to the schedule
Currently, you can add Songs, videos etc to the schedule. What I'd like to see is a new item for TEXT. In our church, the minister uses verses from different bibles as readings during his sermon. He wants the congregation to read them out loud. We currently haven't found bibles that we can import in...
